Passing the Ear Tip Fit Test depends on the size tip you're using and your ears. Most customers pass the Ear Tip Fit Test when using the appropriate size tip.
Since our foam tips are made from heat activated memory foam, they work best when quickly compressed with your thumb and forefinger before you insert them into your ears. Hold the device in place for a few seconds while the foam comfortably expands to fit your ear canal. This will create a custom in-ear fit and provide you with the best seal.
If you fail the Ear Tip Fit Test, try adjusting the device or you may need a larger size tip. There are times where the all-day comfort and security of the AirPods Pros outweighs passing the fit test.
Apple recommends cleaning the mesh when there is an issue while performing their “Ear Tip Fit Test”. Our tips do not need this.
